DAP will hold re-elections for its central executive committee on Nov 12 and has appointed a US-based auditing firm to conduct the elections.

The Registrar of Societies (ROS) said DAP had appointed audit firm Grant Thornton to conduct and oversee the party polls.

"We have told DAP that we agreed to the appointment of the independent body (Grant Thornton), and it is up to the DAP to hold the CEC re-election," ROS director-general Mohammad Razin Abdullah was quoted as saying by Bernama.

Previously the DAP had appointed PKF Consulting to conduct the elections...
