Social activist Syed Azmi Alhabshi urged social media users not to circulate the video of a man fondling and kissing a child.

Instead, he said they should lodge a report over the matter.

"Please stop spreading the video in Kedah of this man fondling the chest/breast of the girl that is spreading since yesterday night.

"I have been trying to get the exact location for proper reporting and I have tried to ask everyone that shared to make a report.

"It doesn't matter which nationality, just protect the child," he said in a Facebook posting.

The child's face was not censored in the video.

In the video, a man was seen holding the child on his lap and repeatedly kissing her with loud music playing in the background.

He also had his right hand underneath her pink dress as her fondled her chest.

The video was first uploaded by Durian media on Facebook.

It claimed the incident took place at a funfair in Kedah at 11.30pm yesterday.
