Pointing at TV3, Anwar reminds media not to repeat or spread slander

Be responsible in seeking the truth, don't repeat or spread slander, and don't help others to spread slander, the High Court in Kuala Lumpur heard today.

These are the reminders given by PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim to the media, especially TV3, when he testified in a defamation suit he filed against former BN candidate Mazlan Ismail, Sistem Televisyen (M) Bhd (TV3) and Utusan Malaysia.

Anwar, 70, who was cross-examined by TV3's counsel TH Liew, agreed with the lawyer that the allegation made in the poison pen letter highlighted by Mazlan alleging he and the late Karpal Singh had bribed the judiciary and the Attorney-General's Chambers was of public importance...
