DAP lawmakers will declare their assets when appointed as public officials after forming the federal government, said the party's publicity secretary Tony Pua.

"Once appointed as state executive councillors, ministers, we will declare our assets. This is DAP's stand," he told a press conference at the Parliament building today.

The Petaling Jaya MP was responding to the asset declaration by 36 potential Pakatan Harapan election candidates yesterday through NGO Invoke.

Among them were Amanah strategy director Dzulkefly Ahmad, former Penang speaker Abdul Halim Hussain and PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil.

They were among 103 potential candidates to have done so thus far.

In return, these individuals would receive election funding from Invoke, which was founded by PKR vice-president and Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli.
