GE14 | MCA publicity spokesperson Ti Lian Ker's dismissal of Pakatan Harapan's manifesto, on the grounds that the word "Cina" (Chinese) doesn't appear enough, is symptomatic of MCA's own racism, said two DAP Youth leaders today.

In a statement today, DAP Youth spokesperson Muhammad Shakir Ameer Mohideen said by combing the document for the word "Cina" and not actually reading it, Ti failed to grasp that the coalition’s pledges benefited the Chinese community.

"For example, (we pledge to) upgrade new villages and fishing villages... with a budget of RM60 million annually compared to RM20 million (currently)... despite MCA and Gerakan being in the government...
