Editor's note: PKR has confirmed the Pardons Board's meeting has been delayed to Wednesday.
The Royal Pardons Board will meet tomorrow at 5pm to discuss a royal pardon for Pakatan Harapan de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim.
His daughter Nurul Izzah could not confirm how long the process would take.
However, the PKR vice-president believed her father would receive a pardon and be freed tomorrow.
“I was informed of this by his lawyer and this is all I know.
"Insya Allah (Anwar is freed) tomorrow. He (Anwar) will then hold an immediate press conference,” she told reporters when met at the Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital in Kuala Lumpur this afternoon.
Anwar is recovering from a shoulder operation at the hospital. He is serving a five-year prison sentence and is scheduled to be released on June 8.
A royal pardon would allow him to participate in active politics with immediate effect upon being released.
Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has vowed to hand over the reins to Anwar within two or three years.
