Agong grants audience to Singapore president

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V today granted audience to Singapore President Halimah Yacob at the Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur.
Halimah arrived at the palace at 5.50pm, accompanied by Singapore High Commissioner to Malaysia Vanu Gopala Menon.
She also signed the visitor’s book before being ushered to the Dewan Sri Maharaja Hall for the audience with the Agong, which lasted an hour.
The audience was held in conjunction with the president’s two-day visit to Malaysia.
Also present were Foreign Ministry deputy secretary-general (bilateral relations) Raja Nushirwan Zainal Abidin and comptroller of the royal household Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz.
