The Kuala Lumpur City Hall has ordered 16 illegal massage parlours around the capital to close following raids carried out last night.
“We have inspected 22 massage parlours and we also seized items such as foldable chairs, tents and decoders of the CCTV cameras from the premises,” said DBKL’s enforcement director Azman Mahmood.
Of the total, 16 premises were ordered to close, he added.
“The raids were carried out from 8pm to 2am, and involved 22 officers and personnel from DBKL,” he told reporters here today.
Azman said DBKL would continue to be active in combating unlicensed massage parlours and would take firm action against errant business owners.
