Legalisation of marijuana in Thailand may see spike in smuggling - IGP

Police are concerned that the legalisation of marijuana by the Thai government may lead to an increase in smuggling activities, according to inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun.

While stressing that legalisation of the drug was Thailand's prerogative, he said Malaysian authorities are taking pre-emptive measures to tighten security at the border...
