MIC vows Cameron seat will return to the party in GE15

MIC president S Vigneswaran maintains that the Cameron Highlands seat belongs to his party even though the parliamentary constituency now has a new BN incumbent who is not from MIC.
"Even though the seat was won by BN candidate Ramli, we will still be contesting the seat in future," he told journalists after chairing the central working committee meeting at the MIC headquarters last night.
MIC had made way for BN direct candidate Ramli Mohd Nor in the Cameron Highlands by-election on Jan 26.
The move paid off as the Orang Asli candidate won convincingly with a 3,238-vote majority, the largest since the 2004 general election.
Vigneswaran reiterated that the seat was on loan.
"As I have said before, we loaned the seat to BN. We in BN have an understanding about this. In the next general election, MIC will be contesting there," he said.
Vigneswaran attributed BN's success in the Cameron Highlands by-election to the right candidate and hopes that it will be emulated in the upcoming Semenyih by-election.
"We want a candidate that can help us win and I hope Umno will choose a suitable candidate for the Semenyih by-election," he said.
The Semenyih by-election will take place on March 2.
Stupid fellow!! anyway, MIC is already dead and this so call Vignes is one useless fellow and will not contribute anything for MIC.
