Sources claim MACC seizes vehicles, freezes bank accounts of PAS leaders
MACC has seized several vehicles and froze the bank accounts of certain PAS leaders, according to sources.
The sources claimed that a shophouse and an undisclosed amount of cash were also confiscated.
However, PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan denied this.
He told Berita Harian that the seizures were not related to MACC's investigation into the RM90 million PAS had allegedly received from Umno.

However, PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan denied this.
He told Berita Harian that the seizures were not related to MACC's investigation into the RM90 million PAS had allegedly received from Umno.
"I just contacted the highest-ranking MACC officer. What was reported by several news portals regarding the seizures is not true," he said.
He also threatened legal action if the media did not review their reports.
In a text message to Malaysiakini later, he reiterated the denial and claimed that the seizures did not involve PAS or its leaders.
Sources said among the vehicles seized were a Toyota Vellfire, Range Rover and Mini Cooper.
They added that the shophouse is worth RM2 million whereas there was RM2.3 million in the bank accounts.
Bernama also quoted sources as confirming that assets had been seized from PAS leaders.
Earlier today, MACC recorded Takiyuddin's statement over the RM90 million allegation.
Sources said more senior PAS leaders are expected to be quizzed.
It was reported that MACC had launched an investigation earlier this month into the claim that Umno had paid the RM90 million to PAS leaders to secure their support in the last general election.
Several past and present PAS leaders, including central committee member Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz and former deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa have had their statements recorded over the matter.
The investigation is being carried out under the MACC Act 2009 and the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001.
