Santubong PKR Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz has been released from police custody.
Haziq was spotted leaving the Dang Wangi district police headquarters in the back seat of a sedan car.
It is understood that lawyer Sivahnanthan Ragava was in the car with him.
The 27-year-old was arrested at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport yesterday, days after claiming to have been in a sex video with Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali.

He was investigated under four criminal sections, including carnal intercourse, and spreading obscene materials.
Azmin had denied being in the videos, calling it an attempt to destroy his political career.
Prior to being brought to Dang Wangi, police took Haziq to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a medical check-up.
Speaking after Haziq's release, his lawyer Ramesh Sivakumar told reporters that police had been professional in their dealings with his client.

He said Haziq was released on police bail and would be required to present himself to the authorities if they required him further.
He added that there was no travel ban imposed on him.
He also said he had no knowledge why his client had wanted to fly to the Philippines just before his arrest yesterday.
