Works deputy minister Mohd Anuar Tahir has been warded after suffering a stroke.

According to Amanah officials, Anuar's is in stable condition and is currently warded at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

Anuar is the Temerloh MP and Amanah secretary-general.

Party officials said that a CT scan revealed that Anuar had suffered a brain haemorrhage.

However, doctors have decided that he will not undergo any surgery for now.
