ROS imposes ban on AGMs due to Covid-19, Umno postpones branch meetings

CORONAVIRUS | The Registrar of Societies (ROS) today imposed a temporary ban on all annual general assemblies and related gatherings by organisations registered under it in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The ROS, in a statement, conceded that the meetings must be held in accordance with the organisation's constitution.

"However, considering the Covid-19 situation becoming more serious, ROS would like to inform that all organisations are prohibited from holding programmes/activities/conferences/gatherings/annual general assemblies until June 30 in line with the government's directive...
