1. A factory in Rawang is believed to have dumped thousands of litres of scheduled waste into the sewage system, which wound up at an Indah Water Konsortium plant and spilled over into Klang Valley’s water supply. Four people have been arrested.

2. There was uproar in the Dewan Rakyat when Bintulu MP Tiong King Sing said Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah is too “afraid to die” to assess the Covid-19 situation in Sabah personally, but he said he has no intention to “maliciously target” Noor Hisham and merely wanted to highlight the people’s dissatisfaction with the government’s response to the pandemic.

3. Noor Hisham countered that he and his deputy had in fact made visits to Sabah to oversee the Covid-19 response in the state.
