Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB), a member of the MMC Group, will provide ferry services for motorcycles and bicycles, apart from foot passengers, starting January.
PPSB, in a statement today, said foot passengers, however, would not be charged fares for two weeks from Jan 1 to 14, 2021.
It is said that the initiative was taken as advised by Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong.
“PPSB is committed to providing reliable ferry services and facilities for the public. Subsequent updates will be shared on the PPSB website,” said PPSB.
