1. Malaysia has marked the final day of 2020 by matching or exceeding several national records related to the Covid-19 pandemic – the number of new cases in a day, the number of active cases, and the number of patients in intensive care units.

2. The government has extended the regulations underpinning the movement control order restrictions until March 31, while Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah reminded that the fight against the pandemic is not over yet.
