Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has become the only university in the country to own and operate two large-scale solar photovoltaic (LSSPV) plants with its second plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor commencing commercial operations.

The university now holds a combined renewable energy generation capacity of 75 MWac (92.58 MWp).
