Paloh assemblyperson Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali has confirmed that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
He said that he underwent a swab test at the Kluang district health office at 11.30am on Sunday after having body aches, before receiving the results (above) at 5pm yesterday.
“I don’t have a fever, just felt uncomfortable. After that I lost my sense of taste. I found out my positive result at 5 pm, and I’m still at home, waiting for further instructions from doctors,” he said when contacted yesterday.
Sheikh Umar also shared the news of his Covid-19 positive status in a posting on his Facebook account and asked for people to pray for his speedy recovery.
