A 15-second video clip of the incident has been making rounds, accompanied with claims that there were problems with their salary.
The video clip was uploaded by Twitter user @ImranNazri_. At the time of writing, it had been watched 23,000 times.
One Twitter user with the handle @InTheHouseMika responded to the video clip by expressing concern over the safety of an RM3,000 laptop computer that was currently being handled by the courier company.
"Please don't do that. I am an ordinary person who bought a laptop for long-term use. My father paid for half. I had to take up part-time work for the rest," wrote the person.
Another Twitter user @Intvnella said she had just received a parcel from the same company but her goods were damaged.
"I've just become a victim. The goods were broken. I bought it as a wedding gift. I pity the seller who has to replace this.
"If you feel aggrieved, you should complain to the authorities and not throw things which belong to others," said the Twitter user.
Twitter user @quelysir said the workers should strike without having to damage property.
"The labour office can take it up. Collect evidence and take the matter to court," he said.
The logistics firm had since responded to the incident. It cited a misunderstanding over year-end bonuses and apologised.
