Johor Perikatan Nasional (PN) will hold a meeting soon to discuss the seat allocation among Bersatu, PAS and Gerakan for the 15th general election, said Johor PN secretary Sahruddin Jamal.

“...we are waiting for the greenlight from the party's top leadership (Tan Sri) Muhyiddin Yassin on when to hold the meeting," he told reporters after the breaking-of-fast event of Johor Bersatu liaison committee (BPN) with the media in Johor Bahru last night.

Sahruddin, who is also Johor Bersatu BPN secretary, said so far, PAS and Gerakan have not yet declared where they want to contest.

"However, (in this meeting) we will try to find the best solution so that Bersatu, PAS and Gerakan are satisfied with the seat allocation," said the Bukit Kepong assemblyperson.

Asked whether Umno would be involved in the seat allocation, he said so far, there had been no discussion on the matter.
