Liow thanks ECRL contractor for helping flood clean-up
Former transport minister Liow Tiong Lai today expressed gratitude to the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) for using their assets for the flood clean up.

Former transport minister Liow Tiong Lai today expressed gratitude to the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) for using their assets for the flood clean up.
"In our hour of need, the CCCC extended their warm hand by using their own resources to help clean a highway," said Liow on his Chinese Facebook page.
He said CCCC used several bulldozers for clean-up works along the Karak-Telemong stretch as well as the stretch in front of a Hindu temple.
"I wish to tell my friends from China and the people of CCCC: 'We are glad to have you, thank you'," wrote Liow.
Mentakab and Temerloh in Pahang were hit by floods over the weekend.
According to Google Maps, the highway from Bentong to Temerloh is currently inaccessible, while significant parts of Mentakab and Temerloh are closed to traffic.
The CCCC is the main contractor for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project, conceived and launched when Liow was still transport minister.
