Several vehicles parked near a stormwater drain yesterday were damaged when the ground around the vehicles collapsed, causing these to fall into the drain.

In one video, a car was seen being driven away in the nick of time after cracks appeared on the road. About 20 seconds later, the ground collapsed and the remaining vehicles fell into the drain.
A woman was heard shouting “Run! Run! Run!” in another video just before the ground slipped into the drain below.
In a statement, the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said it received a report on the incident at 6.38pm yesterday.
It said five vehicles were damaged during the land subsidence at Jalan LP1A/2 Lestari Perdana, but no one was injured.
