Perikatan Nasional (PN)’s proposal to use a new logo and colour in the 15th general election (GE15) is to avoid confusion between PN and BN, said PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

He said the top leadership of PN discussed the possible adoption of a new logo after the Malacca and Johor state elections showed some of its supporters were confused between the PN and BN colours.

"PN will look into the possibility of changing to a colour different from those of BN and other parties in the next general election,” he said.

Tuan Ibrahim (above, right) was speaking to reporters after an Aidiladha feast for the Kubang Kerian parliamentary constituency in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, today.

Tuan Ibrahim, who is the Kubang Kerian MP, said this when asked to comment on PN chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin’s (above, left) statement that PN was planning to introduce a new logo for GE15.
