Selangor MCA has proposed that the state-run affordable housing project could halve its selling price should BN govern Selangor.
Speaking at the Selangor BN convention yesterday, Selangor MCA chief Ng Chok Sin said this would apply to the programme under the Selangor State Development Corp (PKNS).
"Selangor MCA would like to suggest that the national price of affordable housing be reduced from RM250,000 to RM125,000, a discount of 50 percent, under the Selangor State Development Corp (PKNS), on condition that Barisan wins back Selangor.
"Selangor MCA would also like to suggest that if Barisan wins Selangor, there will be efforts to improve efforts to benefit entrepreneurs, especially women, by providing them with capital, training and so on.
"There will be a one-stop centre consisting of all relevant government agencies to benefit entrepreneurs, in a bid to make Selangor the biggest entrepreneurial hub in the nation," said Ng, as reported by The Star.

PKNS is already heavily subsidising its products aimed at first-time homeowners.
Ng said MCA's message for voters moving forward was moderation and unity instead of "sentiment" or "politics of hate".
He said this approach had bode well for BN during the various by-elections since 2019 and more recently during the Malacca and Johor elections.
