Amanah deputy president Salahuddin is new Johor Harapan chair

Amanah deputy president Salahuddin Ayub has been appointed the new Johor Pakatan Harapan chairperson.

Salahuddin (above), who is also the Pulai MP and Simpang Jeram assemblyperson, will be assisted by three deputies - state Amanah chairperson Aminolhuda Hassan, state PKR chair Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, and Johor DAP chief Liew Chin Tong.

Amanah’s Faizul Salleh will hold the Johor Harapan secretary post, while PKR’s S Gopalakrishnan will be its treasurer, and DAP’s Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali its information chief.

“Johor Harapan held a meeting recently to discuss the state coalition’s leadership structure, especially since PKR has now concluded its annual congress and party election.

“From this meeting, Johor Harapan decided that Salahuddin will be the Johor Harapan chairperson,” the joint statement read.
