The refusal of some flood victims in Kuala Terengganu to be evacuated to relief centres has posed a challenge to the authorities, especially Fire and Rescue Department personnel.

Fire and Rescue Department Fire Safety Division director Ahmad Izram Osman said the evacuation and rescue operations of flood victims so far have been smooth but some residents are reluctant to leave their homes.
