Local actor Aeril Zafrel has threatened to sue six individuals who claimed that he and his wife, Wawa Zainal, were paid by Perikatan Nasional (PN) to promote the coalition in the lead-up to the 15th general election (GE15).

Taking to Twitter, Aeril, whose real name is Suhairil Sunari, said he would give 24 hours (from 3pm yesterday) for netizens making the allegations to publicly apologise and delete their postings, while efforts to trace their IP addresses are underway.
