Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad has rubbished allegations that the MACC is investigating one of his officers.

He stressed that the graft buster has not called in any of his officers.

“I also want to deny accusations that I have fired my officers because of corruption issues.

“However, if there are any investigations, my officers and I are ready to give our full cooperation to the authorities,” Nik Nazmi (above) said in a statement today.

His response came after the Edisi Siasat blog claimed that both Nik Nazmi and Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil had sacked their respective officers over an alleged corruption investigation.

On Thursday, Fahmi also denied the blog’s allegations, asserting that none of his officers was under MACC investigation.

The PKR information chief was reported as saying that the accusations were false and malicious against his ministry and himself.
