Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today announced several additional allocations for infrastructure projects in Papar, Sabah, including the Pengalat-Papar Bypass project costing RM538 million.

He said the government also allocated RM67 million for the Lok Kawi Road Upgrading Project from the Sabindo Roundabout to Sungai Kinarut Papar.

"The unity government has also approved the latest application through the Local Government Development Ministry covering the Drainage System Project for Pekan Kinarut and Taman Sungai Wang Kinarut as well as the Road Upgrading Project for Taman Limauan Kinarut and Pekan Kinarut to Kampung Anak Somboy Kinarut," he said when speaking at a programme in the Papar constituency held at Palm Square Kinarut today.

Also present were Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah, Sarawak Affairs and Special Duties) Armizan Mohd Ali, and Deputy Chief Minister III Shahelmey Yahya.
