The former assemblyperson for Larkin from Bersatu, Mohd Izhar Ahmad, announced joining Amanah last night.

He handed over his membership form to Amanah president Mohamad Sabu in a Mega Perpaduan Madani ceramah at Taman Rekreasi Taman Uda Utama, Johor Bahru, which was attended by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

Izhar (above, right) who was the former Johor investment, entrepreneur development, cooperatives and human resources committee chairperson, said he has lost confidence in Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin.

Three days ago, former Bukit Pasir PAS assemblyperson Najib Lep also did the same and announced his participation in Amanah at a ceramah in Sungai Abong, Muar.

Last Friday, Amanah Johor chairperson Aminolhuda Hassan in a statement said two former leaders of PAS and Bersatu along with more than 200 members of the two parties will join Amanah in separate programmes.
