Three PAS women’s wing reps die in highway crash

Delegates and observers who attended the PAS Muktamar in Shah Alam, Selangor today were shocked by the news that three Sungai Petani PAS Muslimat members died as a result of a road accident.

The Permanent Chairperson of the Muktamar, Senator Hussin Ismail, announced that the accident happened in Behrang, Perak when the three PAS women’s wing members were on their way home after attending the Muktamar at IDCC Shah Alam.

“They saw a car involved in an accident and then stopped on the side of the highway to help.

“However, when they tried to help, they were suddenly hit by another car,” he said as reported by HarakahDaily.

According to him, two victims died at the scene, while another seriously injured person died on the way to the hospital.

“The victims who died at the scene are Sungai Petani PAS Muslimat Council Leader, Ustazah Taibah Sulaiman, and Sungai Petani PAS Ameerah Leader, Nor Fatihah Nabilah Bukri.

“Assistant Secretary 1 of Sungai Petani PAS Muslimat Council, Najihah Amzi, died on the way to the hospital,” he said.

Hussin invited the delegates and observers to read al-Fatihah and pray for the souls of the three members.
