Minor reshuffle in Johor state exco line-up announced
Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi today announced a minor restructuring of the state executive council portfolios for the 2024-2027 term, with Tanjung Surat assemblyperson Aznan Tamin as the new face in the state administration.
Onn said the Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, has consented to the new appointment and restructuring and graced the swearing-in ceremony today.

Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi today announced a minor restructuring of the state executive council portfolios for the 2024-2027 term, with Tanjung Surat assemblyperson Aznan Tamin as the new face in the state administration.
Onn said the Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, has consented to the new appointment and restructuring and graced the swearing-in ceremony today.
Aznan was appointed the new Education and Information Committee chairperson, replacing Johor Lama assemblyman Norlizah Noh.
“I believe and am confident that the new appointment and restructuring of the portfolios will bring Johor forward and that everyone is capable of carrying out the duties and responsibilities entrusted to them with integrity, dedication and trustworthiness.
“I am aware that after almost two years in office, there is still much to be done,” Onn said in a statement.
Onn, who is the chairperson of the Land Revenue, Administration, Finance, Planning and Economic Development Committee, has now added Tourism to his portfolio.
Also formerly in charge of the Environment, Heritage and Culture portfolios, Raven is now handling the Unity, Heritage and Culture portfolios in the new lineup
Both Aznan and Norlizah are from Umno and members of the state executive council are purely from BN - Umno, MCA, and MIC.
Following is the list of the Johor exco line-up and their portfolios:
Onn Hafiz Ghazi (Machap) - Land Revenue, Administration, Finance, Planning, Economic Development and Tourism
Zahari Sarip (Buloh Kasap) - Agriculture, Agro-based and Rural Development
Mohd Jafni Md Shukor (Bukit Perma) - Housing and Local Government
K Raven Kumar (Tenggaroh) - Unity, Heritage and Culture
Khairin-Nisa Ismail @ Md On (Serom) - Women, Family and Community
Mohd Hairi Mad Shah (Larkin) - Youth, Sports, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives
Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid (Semerah) - Islamic Religious Affairs
Ling Tian Soon (Yong Peng) - Health and Environment
Lee Ting Han (Paloh) - Investment, Trade, Consumer Affairs and Human Resources
Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh (Bukit Pasir) - Works, Transport, Infrastructure and Communications
Aznan Tamin (Tanjung Surat) - Education and Information.
