Don't give up on freeing Najib, says Puteri Umno chief

UMNO AGM | Puteri Umno chief Nurul Amal Mohd Fauzi has called on members of the party's wing to continue the fight to free former Umno president Najib Abdul Razak from prison.

She also reminded Najib's daughter, Nooryana Najwa, that Puteri Umno will remain by her family’s side.

“Never give up praying for Allah's help for the release of the former Umno president Najib Abdul Razak.

“To Yana (Nooryana), remember that Puteri Umno is always with you,” she said during her winding-up speech at the Puteri Umno General Assembly 2024 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur today.

Earlier, Nurul (above) called on Puteri Umno members to remain loyal and steadfast with the party.

Nurul also emphasised that everything done by the Puteri wing must be based on the party's core principles as a guide.

“I surmise from the speeches of our friends at this assembly, urging us to stay loyal and steadfast with the party. This is our home. It will always be our home. Forever, we will protect it.

“Congratulations, for still being here. Congratulations on continuing the generational legacy of the party. Congratulations for continuing this struggle," she said.

She also emphasised the three main pillars mentioned in her policy speech involving religion, education, and economy as Puteri Umno's commitment to regaining the support of the youth.

“Move forward, my dear Puteri. Remember, we are the defenders of religion, race, and country. We must work together to win back the support of the youth for Umno. This Puteri Umno’s resolve,” she said.
