Former Amanah vice-president Husam Musa has been appointed as the new chairperson of TH Properties Sdn Bhd effective Aug 1.
Taking to Facebook, TH Properties congratulated Husam (above) and referred to him as the best person to carry forward the company’s vision and mission in a progressive direction, given his experience serving in Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB).
“With his experience, the board of directors is confident that Husam would help TH Properties’ rebranding process and help us become on par with other property players in the market,” the statement read.
TH Properties is wholly owned by Lembaga Tabung Haji.
It is to be noted that Husam was appointed as SPNB chairperson on March 22 last year.
While it is unclear when his tenure ended in SPNB, the latter replaced Husam with Mohd Azmi Mohd Lila, who took over as chairperson on Sept 2.
Husam, a veteran politician, had previously served as Dewan Negara senator, Salor assemblyperson and Kubang Kerian MP.
He had also served as PAS vice-president before being sacked in 2016 for violating party discipline.
