PARLIAMENT | MPs from both sides of the political divide expressed resounding support for a proposal by Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to reform land development procedures in Kuala Lumpur.

The lawmakers believe there is a need to increase checks and balances on how the city is managed, and in debating the proposal, they raised grave concerns over the absolute power held by the Kuala Lumpur mayor.
