Another minor earthquake struck Johor in the early hours today, with tremors reported in parts of the state, according to the Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

The quake, measuring a magnitude 3.4, occurred at 4.24am with its epicentre located 22km northeast of Segamat at coordinates 2.7°N and 102.9°E. It struck at a depth of 10km.

MetMalaysia confirmed that mild tremors were felt in Segamat.

Over the past few days, there have been a few minor tremors recorded in Johor and surrounding regions. This is the fourth minor quake that has struck Segamat.
