Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has ordered a temporary suspension of all overseas trips by ministers and deputy ministers to ensure full focus is given to preparations for Budget 2026 and the 47th Asean Summit slated for next month.

Communications Minister and government spokesperson Fahmi Fadzil announced the directive following today’s cabinet meeting, stating that it takes effect immediately.
