PKR Youth filed two police reports yesterday over a viral video showing a man issuing death threats against Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim during the eviction process in Kampung Sungai Baru, Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur PKR Youth Information chief Rais Hamdan said the reports were lodged by Kuala Lumpur and Selangor PKR Youth at the Dang Wangi police headquarters at around 8pm.

Speaking to reporters after filing the reports, he said such death threats were condemned and that they could undermine the long-standing harmony of the nation.

Earlier, a video went viral on TikTok showing a man issuing threats against Anwar and claiming that he had previously been detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA).

Dang Wangi police deputy chief Nuzulan Din, when contacted, confirmed receiving the reports and said the case would be investigated by the Bukit Aman Classified Criminal Investigation Unit (USJT).
