The Selangor Royal Office has shared a media statement by former auditor-general Ambrin Buang regarding the disputed status of Kampung Sungai Baru in Kuala Lumpur.

In his statement dated Oct 1, Ambrin asserted that the village is part of a Malay Agricultural Settlement (MAS) and therefore cannot be converted into a non-Malay area.
