PKR has suspended its Wangsa Maju division chief, Lai Chen Heng, for a year following the circulation of a viral video in May showing him discussing political funding for the party.

Federal Territories PKR chief Azman Abidin confirmed that the PKR disciplinary board decided to suspend Lai, which will take effect this Friday, Free Malaysia Today reported.
