BUDGET 2026 | The government has been urged to table a white paper on reforming the welfare aid and subsidies in the Dewan Rakyat this year.

In a statement regarding the Budget 2026 proposal tabled in the Dewan Rakyat today, Tasek Gelugor MP Wan Saiful Wan Jan said the white paper is crucial for ensuring that the government’s targeted subsidy mechanism is truly effective.
