BUDGET 2026 | Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today tabled a slightly smaller RM419.2 billion Budget 2026, which included initiatives to ease living costs and strengthen the public sector.

Civil servants in Grade 56 and below will receive a RM500 special aid, while all government retirees will get RM250. Judges will see salary increases of up to 30 percent - their first in a decade.

Healthcare and education remain top priorities, with RM46.5 billion and RM66.2 billion allocated for the Health Ministry and Education Ministry, respectively, alongside expanded aid for students, teachers, and health workers.
