Former investment, trade and industry minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz has been appointed as the chairperson of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida).

In a statement, the Prime Minister’s Office said Zafrul will serve for two years, with the appointment taking effect today.
