Former Free Malaysia Today journalist Rex Tan was freed from police custody this afternoon.

When contacted, Tan’s lawyer Rajsurian Pillai confirmed Tan’s (above right) release following his past midnight arrest and overnight detention at Dang Wangi district station lock-up.
