Bernama chief executive officer Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin and Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) director-general Suhaimi Sulaiman have been appointed as government representatives on the board of the Malaysian Media Council.

The council announced that Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil made the appointments on Jan 14, in line with Section 8(1)(b) of the Malaysian Media Council Act 2025.
