• Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim continues to proclaim himself as an anti-graft champion on the Johor campaign trail.

  Bernama cited him as urging voters to judge leaders based on their integrity and honesty rather than political rhetoric aimed at concealing past abuses.

  “If you ask me, I do not want just anyone to become a leader. I want Malays who are good, honest, and not corrupt to become leaders. I want Chinese who are good and not corrupt to become leaders,” he said during a ceramah in Serom last night.

• Johor caretaker menteri besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi will not attend a debate with Pakatan Harapan candidate Maszlee Malik that RTM, Astro Awani, and Sinar Harian are planning to host tomorrow night.

  Bernama reported that Onn could not attend due to prior commitments.

  

  However, Maszlee will still be given airtime.

  The newswire reported that the dialogue session is expected to involve about 200 participants from various government departments, agencies, and Madani communities.
