• Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng is offering a RM5,000 reward for credible information that leads to the arrest of a man who doused petrol on a 62-year-old woman yesterday and set her on fire.

  “Anyone with information should contact the investigating officer, Amri Firdaus Jusoh, at 010-9198209, the Sentul district police headquarters at 03-40482222, or the nearest police station immediately. Please do not approach or confront the suspect yourselves,” he said in a statement yesterday.

  

  The attack yesterday occurred outside a number forecast outlet in Taman Pusat Kepong. The victim suffered burns to almost half her body.

  Police were reported as saying that initial investigations found the woman had no known enemies and had not received any threats.
