A 39-year-old Singaporean man was found dead with three gunshot wounds in his chest at a park on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur yesterday, police said.

Police investigator Hadi Ho told Bernama that Tan Ser Hwee was believed to have been shot in the back at close range. His body was found slumped on a bench by joggers in the early morning.

Three bullet shells were recovered at the scene and Tan's passport, mobile phone, and wallet with cash inside were found on his body. Police are treatening the case as a murder, he said.
