With two days left before polling, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) candidate for Padungan Dominque Ng has received a pledge of support from about 1000 Snap members within the constituency.

Snap deputy president Justine Jinggut told a press conference this afternoon that a meeting was held among branch chairpersons for Padungan, Batu Lintang, Batu Kawa (which also covers Kota Sentosa) and Pending to ask some 3,000 registered party members to go all out to support the opposition Barisan Barisan Bersatu (BBS) candidates in these areas.

PKR's H Y Wong is contesting in Batu Kawah while and DAP's Violet Yong Wui Wui, Voon Lee Shan and Chong Chieng Jen are contesting in Pending, Batu Lintang and Kota Sentosa respectively.

PKR and Snap are partners in BBS which also has an understanding with DAP for the elections.

Justine said BBS is so far happy with the response it is getting from the people in various places.

"There is a high level of confidence this time," he added.
